Admin 2 (Still in early development)

This is a really promising development of the Admin module. In dev mode "Admin menu" is really effective but for end users or clients I prefer to hand them Admin 1.x instead because the nice layout.

Admin 2.x module is a complete remake of Admin 1.x. It's a merge of Admin 1.x and "Admin menu" to suit the developer as well as the end user. Admin 2.x looks like a great combined evolvement and will be more mature when D7 is released.

A "must-have" module

This makes administering Drupal so much easier for non-technical users. All of my clients vastly prefer this to the default Garland theme.

Well on its way

This is a GREAT module which should be implemented into the next version of Drupal, however it slowed my site down IMMENSELY as well as messed up several styles when trying to edit nodes directly, as opposed to editing them from this module's administration side.

Another flaw is that when using these admin themes, you lose perspective on the widths of your layout regions, an assumed risk if you want to place pictures or pagebreaks in any nodes.

Theme developers should use this as a guide to making their own.

Some things don't work, like putting the scripts include at the end of the template page, thus nerfing jquery code above this section.

Other things are wonderful, like the layout of taxonomy to the right for content add/edit pages.

The icons are good, some of the nomenclature will confuse veterans (people vs. User management), and anyone using the admin menu module will find it redundant for certain features.

The look is very clean, but also very "tech guy" using black as the primary colour.

Taking a peek at the template.php file clears up a wealth of "best practices" that can be used for your own templates. Worth a download just to look at the way the module works.

Warning: Totally disregards and circumvents normal theme functionality to achieve it's goals. Still in Beta at this writing. May produce very odd results if you rely at all on the right column for admin work. Be aware this is a work in progress before downloading.

Great for users unfamiliar with Drupal Admin interface

Gives your drupal admin a nice look, and makes the switch from interfaces like joomla much easier, however in the long run the default or the admin menu is much faster once you learn how to use it.

Provides consistent user experience for administrators

Administration user experience in a bucket. It is not as fast to use as Administration Menu module, but a terrific step forward for users who are unfamiliary with Drupal's administration. Many thanks to Mark Boulton and Leisa Reichelt at www.d7ux.org for their design groundwork on this module. Design is really well executed -- clear, simple icons and clean typography and pixel-perfect layout abound. Since it uses its own theme, it can provide continuity for administrators who work on many sites. I do hope to see this module climb into drupalmodules.com's top 10, soon.

A big step towards a better user experience.

This module is great, most of Drupal's weakness has been in people not understanding it's administration section.
I've only just installed this module and working with it has been a great experience. It's faster to work with than admin menu. I think this is down to the icons, they are recognisable after using it for a short while.

It's on my list of must have modules along with views, cck, imagefield etc.

Amazing Step Forward

Only just tried this module out recently for a short period, it's got some really great promise and really looking forward to seeing how they continue to polish this as it gets closer to BETA and a release.

Keep up the great work this is miles ahead what is out of the box and kicks Admin Menu in the arse big time.

This is the Future

If you've ever been frustrated with the clumsy look and feel of the out-of-the-box Drupal UI, then download this module and install immediately. It will instantly make your admin section better organized and infinitely more beautiful.

This is the future of the Drupal Administrative interface. Your clients will love you for this.

Long live this module!!!

The biggest Drupal`s "problem" was pain stacking administrating. This module fixes that, so I can congratulate Drupal in becoming the BEST CMS!!!

Stunning

Stunning visual display, absolutely fantastic work. I really dont think I can give this enough praise.
