A very handy module

This module is very simple. It assigns a role to a user automatically upon registration. The admin interface is simple to use, and the documentation is good.

However, there are bugs with this module. The most serious bug is that when the user registers, the code never modifies the $user object in memory with the newly added role. Any other module that hooks into the registration process such as User Badges fails to assign the appropriate badge. This issue is listed at http://drupal.org/node/193489.
