This should definitively integrated in drupal core. I really don't understand why this module is still an option. Any cms should be improved from version to version. Anyway.. very useful module.
This module is perfect really but its strange that why still stable version for Drupal 7 is not released yet and at this time, the latest DEV version fro Drupal 7 is programmed on Sep 2011. I think the maintainers will not release a stable version for Drupal 7.

I had to build a website for a group of users who are not tech-savvy, and this module was very useful for hiding confusing information from them when I used a WYSIWYG editor. Should definitely be integrated with Drupal Core.
Better Formats is essential for integrating client-side editors with Wysiwyg module. However, its UI is slightly confusing at first sight. Could use some help from the UX team.
This module adds additional functionality paired with reliability for input formats not found in other modules. This is a new coveted module for my Drupal toolkit. Thank you for it's development.We are currently using this in multiple Michigan State University, Residential and Hospitality Services websites.
I always did forget to switch from filtered HTML to full HTML. This module gives us a default format for every role that you even can sort. And tons of other usefull setiings. This is part of our standard installation.
Makes the use of a WYSIWYG editor entireley idiot proof - set the format of the contact types using this editor to Full-HTML, and disable everything else! Works out-of-the box, well and as expected.
Having some problems with Drupal formats, this module really helped me to solve my problems. This is a must have for every production website.
Very easy to use and useful module. Saved a lot of time for me to remove help tips and perform other tasks.

Easy to install and quite flexible!
An easy way to set different default formats for each content type. This functionality should really already be in core.
If on your site not only a well schooled pro should enter content than this module is absolutly necessary to get rid of all the annoying and mostly bewildering "formating tips".
This module can do much more but this feature (why is this not a core feature??) was the reason for me to use it.
Easy to use, well documented.
It's so wise to pack lots of functionality in one module, instead of dividing it to several modules.
You know that ungainly formatting help tips below the submit button? Well this helps you remove all of it. Also removes the input formatting tips.
If you use a WYSIWG editor you dont need the allowed html code information this removes all that junk.
A must have module for today's Drupal site.
