Bookmarks provides a unique (non-shared) menu to each user. The menu can be modified / updated by the individual users and by the site admin (or anyone who has those permissions). Bug Report:
The newest update for the DHTML menu module broke my entire Drupal site if I had the bookmarks module enabled, and it was set as block. If I removed the bookmarks block, it showed just fine.
