Nice with many features
CKeditor is a nice WYSIWYG editor that is chosen by many webmasters and i myself prefer it to TinyMCE because its easier to use and has less bugs and problems. Also they have released an independent version for Drupal that can be used but its not free. And the free version is still useable with Drupal sites. I had question about this and asked their support team and they confirmed that using this module for Drupal for free is doable by installing CKeditor module and the core files of editor which is downloadable from the CKeditor website.

Most difficult module install I've experienced
Following the directions exactly, this is the most difficult to install module I've yet experienced. The documentation is minimalist, and appears to assume that everyone is already familiar with the software. The install documents refer to files that are not in the folder when it's unpacked. I think it will be easier to try FCK editor in the WSYWIG module. Not sure why this is considered an improvement.

Good support for language direction
This module takes care of the language direction very well (better than fckeditor), So if you want to build a multi-language website this is what you need.

Great but not perfect
Does what it was meant to do. Integration with file browsing makes it even better.
Took some configuration time to get it just the way I wanted it.

Use WYSIWYG module instead
I've run into two real problems with this module (and with the corresponding FCKEditor module).
The first problem is that it overzealously applies the CKEditor to too many text boxes within Drupal - including many in the administrative interface that should not contain styled text. Yes, I am aware that this can be configured on a case-by-case basis. But as a user of this module, it is unreasonable for me to track down all of the boxes that should be excluded and turn them off, one-by-one.
The second problem is an unfortunate interaction with custom Drupal themes. This module chooses to embed the CKEditor in an HTML iframe component. As a result, theme-related CSS styles that are applied to the "body" tag accidentally affect the CKEditor block. In my case, the CKEditor had a dark-blue background and was unusable.
In contrast, the Drupal WYSIWYG module has been a dream to work with. The WYSIWYG module directly supports CKEditor, so you end up with the same functionality. However, it doesn't encounter either of the problems above.

Incredible!
I'm not sure if I could have built my website without this. I used to use the yui editor, but it had many bugs and few features. Not it is the opposite: Lots of features and few bugs. Great module!

Give it more time
Geez, I dunno. Have a look at the issue queue. Lots of serious bugs. Basically unusable at this stage. Should not be in a released state. Not enough room here to report all the problems I had with it but basically it's not outputing the style tags you set in every case - very inconsistent behavior.
EDIT: Changed my mind. It's awesome. Just make sure you don't use HTML filters. Install the HTML Purifier module and be happy!

Great Start!
This WILL take the best of the best WYSIWYG editor by putting all the strengths finally together as one. I would highly recommend this editor for someone new to Drupal. (All I wish is for the CKEditor engine to be added to the WYSIWYG module.) Their are no critical bugs that I found and only minor adjustments that can be taken care of with versioning.

RIP FCKeditor
I like the look and the ease of installation, and how much faster it loads when compared to FCKeditor

Nice, fast and looking cool
Smooth install in readme.txt in the module. Installing the editor worked first time. Integration to the filemanager ckfinder works brilliant.
Seems to work swift and smooth and plenty of edit icons and options. This one beats any of the other wysiwyg's around.
Best of all - no conflicts with Imagecashe/cck as is the case for imagebrowser, image

A great text editor!
Downloaded the CKEditor, downloaded the module to run it, and I'm off and running! An excellent rich text editor, really makes my site look professional, and installing it was a snap with the aid of the well-written documentation. Bravo!
