Not sure what it actually does

According to the promotional pages, curvycorners (the 3rd party application) looks great and does everything you could ask of curved corners. However, the module itself that is supposed to integrate this 3rd party app with the Drupal framework, well, I can't figure out what, if anything, it does. After a lot of work I sort of hacked it into curving my corners, but it wasn't very reliable... and then I disabled the module. The corners were still curved, even after cache clearing and full refreshing, viewing on a fresh browser, etc. So it would appear that the module itself doesn't actually do anything at all, from what I can tell.
