Very helpful

This module was very helpful in styling views of row style 'node'. It's pretty straightforward to use if you're familiar with display field configuration and Views. I used it to force node reference links to display pure links rather than page titles (which seems to be the default behavior of fields of that type).

Handy little module

This module could use a lot more in the way of documentation and examples; I had to muddle through by trial and error. It would be really helpful to at least list the available variables on the formatter creation page.

Nonetheless, this module is very convenient for tweaking the format of CCK fields, and it permits a high degree of re-use. It's repeatedly saved me from having to create a custom node or view template over trivialities.

awsome

In the middle of putting your view together you find out that something doesn't work quite as expected: you need to another format. With custom_formatters you can do this in a minute or so: either use tokens (basic) or php (advanced). The module helps you to some extent with devel integration. There could be a little more documentation and some tests, but hey this module is only a month old, there is still room for improvement. Example: I made myself nodereference fields which display lightboxes with exactly the cck fields as captions. I definitely like it.
