Forum Thread does just what it says it does; makes forums look like the slimmer threaded versions seen elsewhere.
However, it leaves the header titles of "Forum, Topics, Posts, Last post" in place, leaving a messy layout which makes no sense since the details are no longer tabulated. It uses only 2 icons, one for a topic and one for each reply, so it loses the visual aid of pinned and locked topics. Not a great help to forum members. Also, the gap between listed topics is very large, again making the layout look a bit nasty.
If you don't mind hacking around in the PHP/CSS to fix these issues, then it's ok, but actually offers less than the 6.13 core forum module.
