Author queue is not working.
(warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in ...authorqueue.module on line 64.)
This module is a waste of time.
Drupal has limited options to sort node lists. Default it is based on the sticky paramter, the creation date and the node title.
Alternatively, you can create a view based on where you can sort on a custom field, say "display order". However, maintaining the order is a tedious task, since you have to edit all the nodes for which you want to change the order.
That is where node queue comes to a resque. Via the UI you can quickly change the order. Also you can select which nodes should be added to a queue easily.
It integrates beautifully with views.
