The Best

In my opinion this is the best total based subscription service. I base this on the idea that 1st it works! The UI is great with some slight tweaks, and the flexibility is bar none. Even the default messages sent out are great! The end user interface presents just enough options without going overboard and is flexible.

The problems I had with it is the initial install doesn't let you control what pre-existing users get the features that you want, and that I needed to really test this thing out to be assured it works exactly as desired! It even supports multiple mail protocols and HTML based Mail.

I am very happy!

Ohh It doesn't integrate with the user uprofile so if you want to use the comment system to generate a guestbook your out of luck. You got to get guestbook, which handles the mail better there anyways!

Six hundred emails under

Some months ago, using a 1.x dev version I got 600 emails within seconds sent to users on a production site. :-/ Test it one time, and after that test it again and again, then disable it.

I hope some progresses were made from 1.x to now, and I don't know if an external database issue occurs that time, but it lacks a reliable mail flooding control mechanism.
