Unlike other video modules of this type- OpenPackage sells processing as a service. I needed this, because on a kids project I didn't want to be posting videos on YouTube, and I my virtual hosting package doesn't allow me to install FFMPEG.
So that feature alone made this module good for me.
It was kinda tough to get set up at first, slightly confusing, but I think it has even improved over time.
If you want to build a video-sharing website (like Youtube), where users can upload videos, and you will convert these video into Flash, then this module is for you.
It can handle a lot of video formats (mp4, flv, wmv, avi, mov etc.). If you use this module, you'll need FFmpeg in your hosting (search for FFmpeg hosting in Google).
Does this site make your life easier? Help me keep it online. Bandwidth and server costs are more than $220/month.
