Page titles (the ones in the title tag) are often underrated when it comes to SEO. They have a great potential of generating traffic on your website if used properly.
This module is great at giving you absolute control over your page titles, and is a definite must-have in any Drupal installation.
If you're building a website that has a lot of "static" pages (not blogs, etc) it is often better for SEO to have the title tag different from the nodes title.
This module is works really well, the only down side is that you need to make changes to your theme to get it to work.
This module could not accomplish its goal more easily. It simply adds a new field to specified content types which allows a user to set the page title.
It is lacking in a few areas (in my mind). First of all, the cck field's weight cannot be changed. This has become a problem more than once for me.. I have always managed to find ways around it, but, in my mind, the weight should be able to be changed.
Secondly, the installation, is ever so slightly complicated as you must change a segment of your theme's template.php file. For beginning drupalers, this might be a problem, but don't let that deter you - for what it does, this is an amazing module.
This module does just what it says. Installation is simple, but does require adding an extra line to your template.php file. If you need an easy way to change page titles, this is it.
