This module allows creation of a number of nodes of chosen type for some users. It temporarily overrides the node creation permissions and keeps track of the number of nodes the user can create. This module fit a need perfectly - to charge for creating a particular type of content. Since Drupal uses roles to control permissions, this module essentially allows purchase of a role, which can be set to expire on a schedule using ec_recurring.
The documentation is sparse but accurate enough and it would be nice if it contained a sort of step-by-step outline for newer users on how to set up a content type which one would then set up as a 'product' and a user role specifically to create the node type.
